This privacy policy explains how Swiss Aerospace Ventures GmbH ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit this website or subscribe to our services. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process the following categories of personal data:
Server logs, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. Collected automatically when you visit the website.
Newsletter subscriptions, including your email address. Collected only when you actively subscribe to Waypoints.
Direct correspondence, including any data you provide when contacting us by email.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Newsletter delivery. Purpose: sending Waypoints. Legal basis: your consent (FADP art. 6; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
Operating and securing the website. Purpose: serving content and detecting abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Replying to enquiries. Purpose: responding to your message. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We use the following processors to operate the service:
Resend (email delivery; United States): processes your email address to deliver the Waypoints newsletter.
Vercel (website hosting; United States and EU): processes server logs.
Storyblok (content management; Germany): stores published website content; does not process subscriber data.
We have data processing agreements (DPAs) with each processor and rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
Newsletter email address: retained until you unsubscribe.
Server logs: retained for up to 90 days.
Correspondence: retained as long as needed to handle your enquiry and comply with legal obligations.
You have the right to:
access your personal data and obtain a copy;
rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
restrict or object to processing;
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
receive your data in a portable format;
lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority in the EU/EEA.

This website does not currently use tracking or marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used to operate the website; these do not require consent.
